Post your funny in-game stories!
I just had a funny in-game moment that I felt like sharing, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where everybody can share their chuckles.
Anyways, in Doomlore Shrine, there were a lot of people looking for a CoF run. Being extremely bored, I decided to start saying "running to CoF 2k". Eventually, my party started filling up, so I zoned into the dungeon. We all just stayed there for a while, then people finally started realizing that I had said I was running TO CoF, and they got mad. After just about everybody left, one guy gave me 2k just for making him laugh.
The other people were steaming, but really... I wasted about 3 minutes of their time... what's the big deal? =P
Well, start posting your stories!

Well, I decided to do Heart of the Shiverpeaks in nm with a pug (funny in of itself I know). I was on my paragon - playing an imbagon bar. The party was pretty well-balanced too.
OMG. It was beyond horrible. I thought someone had activated some sort of super special maniacal hard mode. The party had deaths on the first level (note that 'deaths' is plural). Right when we got to the first group of skelk, one of the melees got fed up and left...we trudged on. It took a half-hour to get through the first level.
w00t! Made it to the second level finally! But alas, we weren't getting past that first group of skelk. No party wipes, but a heck of a lot of dying for sure. How do you manage to die with an imbagon buffing you? I got fed up. I hadn't died yet, so I took off my armor, ran into the center of the mob and died twice. Surprised I was rezzed at all. Well, that was fun. What next? Just wasted over 30 minutes of my time with these people.
Inspiration! I ran around the second level collecting mobs and brought them back to my party! Shortly after, I mapped out.
p.s. Went back with heroes and henchies and completed it in under the time it took the pug to get past the first level.
p.p.s. I've yet to play with a pug again.

Earlier today, Vizunah Square. Local team with me, some peeps, and heroes + the foreign team with NPC's... The afflicted monks are, ehem, very fond of shooting jesus beams.
The entire NPC team minus Devonna decided to stand and chill while afflicted monks made it rain.
RIP: Emi, Aiden, Cynn, Jamei, Vhang, Chiyo, Eve, and that Canthan peasant... and rest of my team soon after...

It's nearly impossible to do it HM with foreign team. They stand in the ray of death and smile as they explode.

Heh, I remember a guy who made an alt account on Guru whose one and only post was to offer a fictitious 100 ecto prize for a char name. Got over 300 responses.
Laugh? I nearly did.

Funniest in game story? Too many to name, just go to RA - either in the outpost or the in the mission.

Yeah, just don't stay in RA too long. The amusement gradually wears off, when you realize just how many people are running such terrible bars and are unshakable in their firm belief that their bar is the ultimate bar for their profession (the ones who aren't obvious trolls or joke builds) - and they're almost always on your team. Dolyak Signet, Frenzy and no cancel (he said Frenzy was his Frenzy cancel. lol. I loved him and hated him at the same time), Apply Poison on eles, etc.

Someone following the name convention "XXX the Assasin" was i na group for the DOA zbounty yesterday. When i suggested XXX reminded me of someone called XXX the healer who abandonneed my group the previous day on a zquest he himself did leave.
may have been coincedence but when adding the Healer to my friends list it came up with his name.

In the old days when doing Galrath with my Necro, MM, after reaching Galrath and defeating him with 30 minions I used to say "Here comes the real challenge" then leave the game having my party have some fun with the minions.

I was running the Charged Blacknesses zbounty the other day, had done several runs smoothly, nice ppl, no scammers, just having a nice time. I had "Running zbounty HM 3k" advertised, last person to join this group was a sin, I changed districts and was about to scroll in when suddenly we're scrolled into FoW, the sin throws up an essence and just charges off starting a run to who knows where, we all just kinda stood around for a few seconds going wtf? Anyway, LOL'd at that, didn't cost anyone anything except the sin but I had a chuckle cause it was just such a random thing to do. We just rezoned and carried on.

I had to chuckle the other day for the RA zquest. Our monk said Healing Breeze was good. Another one is a saw a warrior with the VwK farming build in AB, imagine the laughs on vent ^^.
I have a ton of inside-jokes, I don't feel like explaining them ^^.

lol I'm the reason PUGs fail! I'm also the reason people don't know how to play their profession. OH OH OH!!! I'm also the reason for err7s! And why Mhenlo and Togo sometimes get stuck!
I wasn't the first person to quit that group. Considering how things were going, I didn't have 5hrs to finish the mission - if they finished at all.
Don't worry, you won't see me in a pug again. At least h/h can play their bars lol.

Hmmmm I was once about to get scammed: A guy was selling gifts of the HUNTSMAN instead of the traveler. When I noticed the green color I of course dropped it and instinctively yelled in all chat DON'T TRADE WITH *censor* HE SELLS GIFTS OF HUNTSMAN AS GIFTS OF TRAVELER!
Then to my surprise he thanked me a minute earlier for actually BRINGING CUSTOMERS to him since they all misread, or rather read what they wanted to read, my message.
In that case I just told him you're welcome because really that was their own damn fault XD

A bunch of random people (myself included) were in Shing Jea monastery and had used cottontail tonics and we all started following this one guy who ran away screaming "get away bunnies! your filthy!!!" it was random and it made me chuckle.
